Nalanda School follows a continuous and comprehensive evaluation approach from Class I onwards, focusing on studentsâ academic progress as well as their social, emotional, and overall development throughout the academic year. Studentsâ performance and progress are shared with parents through periodic report cards and Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
Students are expected to maintain regular attendance in accordance with school and applicable education guidelines. Parents are requested to inform the school in advance regarding planned leave, except in cases of sudden illness or emergencies. In the event of prolonged or unexplained absence, parents may be required to communicate with the school administration and provide appropriate documentation where necessary. The school may take suitable action regarding extended absences in accordance with its attendance and academic policies.
House System & Leadership
To nurture healthy competition and teamwork, all students from Class I onwards are placed into one of four Houses, each represented by a distinct colour. They participate in academics, sports, and co-curricular events for their House, with rolling trophies and recognitions motivating excellence and all-round development.
Â
Leadership roles such as house captains and class representatives give children opportunities to collaborate, solve problems, and practice responsible decision-making. Through these experiences, learners gradually strengthen their values and roots while growing into compassionate, confident citizens.
